What happens when it locks up and is unresponsive refusing to power down? It becomes a warm ball until it's battery runs flat. Seems strange it doesn't have a reset.

Sorry to hear that you're having some issues. It should power off by pressing and holding for a while. If not 5 seconds, try 15-20 seconds. If this still isn't working, please let me know via email at [email protected].

I understand how it should power down but it did not happen on this occasion although I did not know about the 15-20 seconds. If that is a reset alternative, is it documented ?

We are not able to hard reset our Bublcam. We held down the power button for 20 seconds, no luck. It is also no longer showing up in the WiFi list. The light just stays green. Any input as to what causes this, how to avoid it, and how to fix it would be appreciated. We did not drop or otherwise abuse the camera.
This just happened to me today. Did an update check before rolling, no updates needed. Unit was in an air-conditioned environment not in direct sunlight. Recorded a long, 20 minute clip, then froze, would not reset. Stuck it in the refrigerator while it ran it's battery out so I didn't kill itself.
Any idea how to fix / avoid?
